Cat sitter in Darlington

I’m a lifelong cat owner with experience of all aspects of caring for cats and kittens, including feeding, grooming, cleaning and administering medication, as well as dealing with ill health, operation recovery and the challenges of both kitten-hood and old age.

I work in a vets as a receptionist/client care advisor and as well as being responsible for maintaining the clinics accreditation as a Silver Cat Friendly Clinic, I am also the cat advocate for the practice.

I foster cats and kittens for the RSPCA Cat Rehoming Hub and previously I was a trustee for the Darlington and District Branch of the RSPCA. I have also volunteered for Cats Protection and The Cinnamon Trust.

I have studied a number of animal courses including welfare, behaviour, psychology and healthcare from International Cat Care (previously ISFM) and the University of Edinburgh.

I tend to allow the cat(s) in my care to dictate the style and length of interaction they receive - I am happy to stay as long as I feel they would like me to, it is their home after all, I am however always accommodating of owners specific requests/requirements.
