About Me

Cat sitter in London

Hello, I'm Adele & I am a freelance photographer and teacher as well as being an avid cat fan.

I have been cat-sitting regularly for over 7 years, starting off by looking after friends' cats whilst they enjoy their holidays.

For my first cat-sitting residency - I enjoyed the experience of becoming a cat midwife as my friends' cat was due to give birth whilst she was away! I stayed at her house for 2 weeks and during that time her cat did go into labour and I helped her (I mean, of course, she did all the hard work!) give birth to 5 kittens! They were all healthy and strong. I made sure the mother was very happy & comfortable and kept a very close and loving eye on the little kittens, making sure they were all feeding and growing well, which they did :)

I am calm, reliable and extremely attentive to both to your cats' needs and also your house security requirements. I will be in touch with you every day whilst you are away, sending daily updates and photos of your feline friends.

    Adele is wonderful with our two cats - she's our go-to and we're so happy to know when we know she's with the cats. One of our cats is epileptic and she's happy to give him his twice daily meds and keep a close eye on him. Highly recommend!

    We were very pleased with Adele. This was the first time she had sat for us but everything went very well. She answers texts / emails quickly which is important for me. She got in touch with us every day, including some photos of our 2 cats. The house was tidy and clean and the cats seemed very happy. I would definitely use her again.

    Adele looked after our cats for the first time over the weekend. They seemed very happy when we got back (not missed us at all) and she coped very well with a couple of minor crises in the house. She texted me to let me know what was going on. We were very happy with her. We have booked her for a longer holiday in a few weeks Tim.

    I would like to recommend Adele as a very competent cat sitter. She has sat for my cats on several occasions. We had to ask her to look after our pregnant cat who gave birth, Adele at the helm! She successfully birthed 5 wonderful kittens while we were away and looked after the Mum until we were back a week later! She has stayed on several occasions since and each time the house has been looked after and we can be away knowing that she is in the house looking after the pets, garden and most importantly is a presence in our house in a sometimes turbulent neighbourhood!

    Adele was great with our cat Hoshi, she is on a strict diet and Adele made sure she kept to it. It felt nice to know that both the cat and the house were looked after while we were on holiday.
