About Me

Northampton's best cat-sitter has relocated!

I’m currently completing my Master’s dissertation in Philosophy at the University of Southampton but I've moved to Cambridge for work. I started cat sitting while I was an undergraduate because I missed my own cats and I'm still going strong because I just love hanging out with cats!

Over the past four years I’ve been lucky enough to look after a number of cats on top of two of my own. Biscuit is a great big fluffy ginger cat, I’ve had him for 12 years so it’s fair to say that we grew up together. He’s a bit grumpy but an absolute softie! Isla is a younger tortoiseshell cat, she’s only a couple of years old, and she is very different to Biscuit. She is incredibly energetic but I love to play with her.

I love cats of any sort and I can handle anything they throw at me (believe me, my cats have done some ridiculous things!).

I am happy to do just about anything. I can give them all the love in the world, I can play with them, administer medication, brush their teeth, you name it, I can do it. I’ll even sing for them if required!

    Cara did an excellent job feeding my three cats twice a day while I was away - she is friendly, thoughtful and caring and kept me updated via WhatsApp. She ended up having to apply ointment to Finn's eye as he had conjunctivitis which was not in the original plan but she rose to the challenge admirably. Thanks, Cara!

    Cara was kind and accommodating, she rearranged her meetup to be able to come to us in the requested time. She was great in her communication throughout and sent pictures every time she visited our kitten. She also came along prior to the first visit to meet her and she appeared to have built a good rapport with Nara right away!

    Cara did an excellent job looking after my three cats. She visited twice a day, sent great photos of them and dealt admirably with the unexpected - a feline thief who stole five pouches of cat food! Would thoroughly recommend.

    Cara took the time to meet our cats and run through their needs ahead of looking after them. This really put our minds at rest about leaving them for the first time and also the cats took to her straight away! Cara was really accommodating of our asks, including visiting twice a day and sent us regular updates and photos which we appreciated so much! We will definitely be booking Cara again and highly recommend her

    I would 100% recommend Cara to cat sit for you. She's friendly, reliable and great with communication - I felt safe in the knowledge that my cat was in good hands. She sent cute photos of him throughout the weekend I was away and when I returned he seemed content and happy :)
