Reliable and experienced cat-sitter in Portobello and beyond!

I am a student in the city with a lot of free time on my hands.

I have had cats since I have been five and have plenty of experience with young and old cats, cats with medical issues, and I even helped raise a litter of newborn kittens. I come from a farmstead where my family rescues stray cats and dogs and nurses them back to health to rehome them.

I am happy to offer services that include both short visits and longer stays. I am also happy to do overnight stays. The priority is the cat and their happiness and wellbeing, so if your cat is extra anxious while you are away I would be delighted to keep them some company. As stated on my profile, I am also happy to look after/feed rodents and birds.

I have over 15 years of experience in taking care of cats - old cats, kittens, as well as newborns. pure breeds, non-pedigrees as well as cross-breeds. I am happy to feed them, clean out their litter, play with them and simply keep them company.

I have had a lot of experience in administrating medicine, such as painkillers, antibiotics and de-worming cats (newborn kittens too) so I will most likely be comfortable enough to do so. If you require such services, please send me a message beforehand of the requirement and I will let you know if I have experience in that specific area.

Additionally, I have experience with rodents, specifically hamsters and guinea pigs. Guinea pigs in particular, I have had a rescue for a long time that came to me with a lot of trauma from his previous owner and I managed to give him a good and comfortable life.
