About Me

Cat sitter in Glasgow

Hi everyone, I'm Katrina and I’m a cat lover living in Riddrie. I've always lived with cats and have a lot of experience with cat-sitting and animal handling. I've previously volunteered with the Cat's Protection and also volunteered in a vet practice for two years so can provide excellent references on request.

I live with a ten-year-old rescue tabby called Ziggy who is very boisterous (and I have the scars to prove it). I also have experience looking after pedigree cats including Bengals, Ragdolls and Maine Coons.

If your cat is elderly, requires medication or is on a special diet then I am comfortable providing them with the highest level of care. I'm happy to meet you and your furry ones to see if we're compatible, I come bearing treats!

    Katrina took the cat sitting on at fairly late notice and was happy to work visits around her own personal life. My cats warmed to her straight away, she done everything I asked for including medicating one of the cats and sent me updates and photos at each visit. I will definitely be using Katrina again in the future.

    Katrina is amazing! From the get go she was fantastic, and Buttz absolutely loved her, she can be a little shy at first but not with Kat, brilliant! She kept us up to date while we were away with daily photographs and a few videos - just what I needed when I was missing my wee pal haha! I would 100% book Kat again, and hope to do so in the future, she's ace.

    My boys loved having Katrina as their interim “mum” whilst I was away for a month. They were clearly besotted with her, enjoying playing with her and looking forward to her daily visits. I knew it was a good match when Eliot, usually very weary around strangers, instantly gave Katrina rubs on the first meeting. Any kitty would be lucky to have Katrina as their sitter, she is the best.

    Katrina looked after my bengal Oscar while I was on holiday last week. She was absolutely great and kept me up to date with pictures and videos. Oscar took to her as soon as he met her, which is very rare! I've come home to find a very happy and well looked after cat! I can't recommend Katrina enough.

    Katrina was the perfect cat sitter! Nothing was too much hassle, she sent a wee update on how things were going every day, and Bruno was perfectly relaxed when I came home after being so well looked after. She really does adore cats so I knew Bruno was in the best possible care ❤️

    Couldn't be happier with Katrina's sitting. We got regular updates while we were away (for a week) and Simpkins clearly had a great time. Knowing my cat was safe and well looked-after meant I could enjoy my holiday. Indeed I think Simpkins had a little holiday himself - he clearly loves spending time with Katrina.

    Though he's fairly low-maintenance, Simpkins does have some special requirements. These were all dealt with without any hassle.

    I'd hire Katrina again without any hesitation and highly recommend her to anyone who needs their cat looked after.
