Best friend of every single fluffy cat!

Hello. My name is Mirka and as everyone here I'm a huge cat lover but as my tenancy agreement won't let me have one, I'm looking for some furry friends to look after and play with on here.

I work in childcare and my current employer as well as some of my previous employers own/ed the cat/s, so it was part of my duties to look after them and on an occasion to come and feed them over the weekend if I was around. I always loved cat ever since I can remember and as a child I used to always rescue cats (and sometimes even dogs) from streets and tried to persuade my mum to keep them.

When I was in Year 4 and my mum said no to another cat from street, I brought her to school trying to find her a new home. For some reasons I thought the cat would stay still until the end of the classes, I was that desperate. LOL!!! I grew up in Slovakia and as the school was just 10 minutes walk away I used to walk alone without any supervision, so it was easy to sneak the cat out. Plus mum was a teacher at the different school so she was long gone before I left. The cat obviously made herself present within first minutes the class started and I was sent home. I can't remember but I think we had her for a month or two before someone adopted her.

When I lived in France and the family I worked for had a Russian Blue who was 2 months when I arrived. I spend every weekend with her when family went away, and I can admit I have more photos of Tushka (the cat) than of Paris.

I don't have experience with sick cats or the one needing medicine. Unless it's something complicated I'm happy to learn.

I work in childcare so I do have DBS/ My original copy is dated back to 2017 I think, but it's set up for automated yearly update. Happy to provide a reference number so it could be check online.

As a huge cat lover, I would treat your furry baby as my own. I will play with her, talk to her to ensure you will come back, if you leave any photos behind I will remind them of you :) I will cuddle them. Will follow every instruction you leave. Happy to stay overnight for prolong period of time, can be flexible on the duration, as long as I could go to work during the day. Currently helping a friend with her cats and kittens, who just 2 days ago had another litter (6 tiny little fury balls) which for me is a completely a new experience. I walked in to check on them and there a lot of mew-ing going on, I was in a shock :)
