About Me

Cat Companion | Trusted Cat Sitter in Ealing

Hello and welcome to my profile. I’m Amy, a proud, self-confessed cat lady.

Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, we had two cheeky black and white cats, Jimmy and Seamus, who were such characters. We also had three rabbits, Mopsy, Flopsy and Toby, plus a tank full of fish.

After graduating from law school, I fostered five kittens and an adult female cat for several months. It was an incredibly rewarding experience. Spending time with cats of all personalities, whether shy, confident, independent, nervous or playful, is truly my happy place.

These days, I regularly care for my family’s and neighbours’ cats when they are away on holiday or need help at short notice. I genuinely love it and take the responsibility seriously.

For health reasons, I’m not able to work or volunteer in a cattery, which would otherwise be my dream job. Cat sitting in people’s homes is the perfect alternative because it allows me to care for cats in the environment where they feel safest and most relaxed.

I’m committed to providing loving, reliable care for your cat while you are on holiday, at work or in hospital. I understand the importance of sticking to your cat’s usual routine and making sure they are safe, happy and well looked after in familiar surroundings.

Please feel free to get in touch if you would like to know more or arrange a meet and greet so I can get to know you and your cat.

What I Offer

My cat sitting services are tailored to your cat’s individual needs and usually include:

  • Providing fresh food and water daily

  • Washing bowls, tidying the feeding area, and cleaning or scooping litter trays

  • Offering playtime, stimulation and grooming while following your cat’s lead and respecting their boundaries

  • Keeping an eye out for any signs of illness or injury

  • Sending regular updates by text, email or WhatsApp for peace of mind

I have basic knowledge of cat first aid and I am happy to administer medication under your guidance. If your cat becomes unwell or injured, I can also take them to the vet if needed. Please note that I travel by public transport, taxi or on foot, as I do not drive.

Additional Home Care

While visiting, I am happy to help with small tasks around the house, such as:

  • Bringing in post and parcels

  • Watering houseplants

  • Setting timers or opening and closing curtains and blinds

  • Taking out bins and recycling

  • Carrying out basic home security checks

If you have any other requests, just let me know. I’m always happy to help where I can.
