Cat sitter in Colchester

Hello, my name is Courtney. I am a cat loving writer living in Colchester.

From a young age, I had such an obsession with cats that to this day my parents can't break the habit of buying me cat-covered trinkets and clothes (which I honestly have no objections to).

I have owned cats throughout my life, and in my teenage years I was a frequent cat-sitter. My family found a grey stray we named Shadow when I was very young. Next came Nala (yes, named after The Lion King), and then Oreo.

While in university, I didn't think my hectic lifestyle was suitable for owning a cat, so I volunteered at a cat shelter. There I was in charge of feeding, cleaning the cat rooms, and socialising the cats on a weekly basis for about two years.

I now have a cat called Tink who is very spoiled by my husband and me.

I have a knack for making even the most antisocial cats feel comfortable around me. Although I never force my cuddles upon a cat, I cherish that moment when a new cat trusts me enough to climb onto my lap for the first time.
