About Me

Cat sitter in Oxford

I’m Anna, (often called Panka), a 28-year-old graduate from Hungary, who moved to Oxford to study. I stayed in this lovely city after my degree and currently work in the John Radcliffe Hospital (Headington) and the Oxford Experimental Psychology Department (Jericho) as an assistant psychologist and research assistant, as I am working towards becoming a Clinical Psychologist.

I love cats and had three of them so far. My family’s current one, Lazac (or Salmon in English) is a red beauty who can high-five you! I really miss cats here because they are not so common in the street and we also cannot have them in my houseshare. This is a great opportunity for me to meet fellow cats which I long for during the time when I'm away from home. I also looked after several people's cats for longer periods and even the shier ones got close to me in the end. I have had a fair few catsitting jobs here in Oxford too through this site and thoroughly enjoyed every single one of them! Overall, I long for having a purring cat on my lap but I also look for challenges that might come with treating a picky, shy or otherwise special cat :) Can't wait to meet your kitties!

    Anna is amazing! I was really nervous about leaving my ragdoll boy at home alone for a week. Anna spent time feeding him dry and wet food, playing with him and reporting back with pictures and videos to put my mind at ease. I returned home welcomed by a very healthy and happy boy, so thank you again for taking good care of him!

    Anna was brilliant, our rather shy cat really bonded with her and even started sitting on her lap (this is very rare) because Anna was giving her so much time on her visits! And she kindly watered the plants and looked after the house. We definitely want Anna to cat sit for Toodles again

    Anna looked after our cat for a bit more than a week and they got on really well. Odette seemed totally comfortable with her, whereas she is usually more guarded. Anna sent us pictures and videos, and came round our house prior to the booking. A very positive experience. I would warmly recommend her.

    Anna did such a great job of looking after our two kittens whilst we were away and they quickly warmed to her. She kept us up to date on how they were doing all week too.

    Anna was absolutely brilliant. She stayed at our house and looked after the cats for 10 days. Everything was left immaculately, I can honestly say that the cats were sorry to see her leave and get us back!!!
