Cat sitter in London

I grew up with cats for almost 20 years. Whilst I would love to own a cat again it’s not currently feasible as I am often travelling. Instead, I make do with my neighbour's cat who I often look after and another local cat who likes to visit every now and then making use of our old cat flap. I am a freelance translator living and working in the Portobello area. Some catsitting work would help me supplement my income whilst also doing something I love. I have done a lot of volunteer work for a cat sanctuary in Madrid (Spain) so am now fairly experienced in working with rescue cats who at first are often feral and unsocial. It has been a really rewarding experience witnessing the progress made by some of these cats and seeing them rehomed, which is the ultimate goal. As a catsitter, aside from feeding and watering them, I would be giving them some TLC while you're away and providing them with a little play session. I’m happy to empty / change litter trays and have experience in administering medication. In addition to this, I am also happy to collect mail, water plants and take photos / videos of your cat during my visit.
