5* Cat Servant

Hello. My name is Pip. I live in central Brighton and am a civil servant. I have loved and lived with cats for over 45 years, since I coaxed my first beloved kitty in from our garden where he was a stray eating the birds’ bread. All my past cats have been rescues including two long term shelter residents, both nervous senior cats who had been putting off potential adopters by hiding and hissing. Both became lovely affectionate housemates once they knew they were safe and loved. Since February 2021 I have been housemaid to two gorgeous middle aged ladies who lost their previous person to covid. From a loving home they found themselves in a small crowded and noisy shelter which they found really overwhelming. I was so pleased I was able to be there for them both and it has been a joy having them in my home after losing my last cat the previous August.

I am available for daily and twice daily visits and other combinations. I have to commute to London 3 days a week which means short stays are easier for me but I am always happy to discuss longer cat sits. For Christmas and New Year bookings please see my availability which I update at the appropriate time. I am up for pill dispensing and I have recent experience of delivering injections (administered to a lovely kitty who suffers from diabetes). I am great for feeding, friendship, frolics and feline photoshoots. Sadly my current feline employers, Hazel and Shebes, are illiterate but they have dictated the following reference; ‘Miss Pip is a very good servant who truly knows her place - which is to be ready to tend to our every whim at any time we fancy and to go away once we no longer need her. Her head scratches are really good and her lap is super comfy. She seems to like exercise and is always running round with string or throwing little soft toys across the room. Sometimes we humour her and join in and other times we just watch for entertainment. She serves good food though and always clears the litter tray promptly. All in all we would give her 5 out of 5 Dreamies.’
