Happy Cats of Cookham

My name is Angie. I am a retired midwife and live in Cookham with my husband and my beautiful black and white cat, Sammy. I have been very lucky to have shared my life with 4 wonderful cats over many years, so I have lots of experience of looking after cats of all ages and understanding all their funny little ways.

All my cats have been rescue cats and were very nervous and upset when they arrived after their previous bad experiences, so I spent lots of time with them helping them to relax in their new home and they all became very happy cats who have given me lots of love and happiness over the years. Now we have our gorgeous cat, Sammy, who loves to snooze on a chair with us in the garden and makes us laugh by trying to catch the butterflies that fly by. I love him to bits! I would never want to be without a cat in my life!

As I love caring for cats so much I have volunteered at Cats Protection and also helped many sick and starving cats while away on holiday abroad.

So I would love to look after your cat for you while you are away on your holiday, and will give him lots of care and attention. I will feed him and stroke him, play with him or sit with him on my lap, and take the time to get to know him and what he likes, so that he feels happy and relaxed and can follow his usual routine.

I will carefully carry out any instructions you give me about caring for your cat and will check that he is eating well. (In the unlikely event of your cat becoming unwell I will let you know straight away and will take him to the vet, if necessary.)

Of course, I will also keep his feeding area and litter tray clean and check for any "accidents" or mice or birds on the carpet, so that your home is clean and tidy and your cat is happy when you return home. I will send you regular updates and photos of your cat so that you can see how he is getting on and that he is happy, and then you can relax and enjoy your holiday, knowing that he is being well looked after.

I have been cat sitting for 6 years and have lots of cat sitting experience and am very concientious. I have made friends with lots of furry clients, from playful kittens to mature moggies, from nervous cats to friendly ones, and have had lots of regular satisfied repeat customers in Cookham, Maidenhead, Bourne End and Marlow. I'm sure my own cat, Sammy, would give me a good reference, if he could, as he's spoilt rotten!

I really love cat sitting, so I'm looking forward to meeting lots more furry friends and their owners!
