Kind Hearted Cat Lover SE London

Hi! I'm Danielle! I'm a teaching assistant based in Eltham. I'm originally from Liverpool and moved to London a few years ago to be closer to my partner, who I now live with. I've owned and loved cats my whole life and always felt a special bond with them- my parents still have video footage of me as a little girl, asleep on our sofa after my first day of school with our two cats at the time asleep next to me. I've overseen the birth of kittens and aided older cats through the last part of their lives. It might sound cheesy but I just have a great love and respect for cats, which is a quality I think makes me an ideal catsitter - while I love cuddles and playtime, I'm also fond of more standoffish cats who maybe need some more time and space before they warm up to you. Whatever level of attention your cat needs, I'm happy to provide. My partner and I have recently took in his stepdad's cat, an affectionate old rogue who we love to pieces. He has to take thyroid medication twice a day, so if that's something your cat needs, I've got plenty of experience in it. However, he's not a big fan of other cats, so I'm unfortunately unable to have cats stay with me. Note that to my job I am only able to do overnight stays during the holidays and weekends unless you are very local to me/my school, and during term time I am only able to do evening visits on weekdays - again unless you are local to me/my school in which case I can pop in on my way.

As a cat sitter, my promise to you is to care for your cat with as much love as I do my own. I consider myself an expert at ear scritches and getting the quietest cats to purr - but am also happy to handle the less fun aspects of cat care!
