Cat sitter in LONDON

Hi, I'm Rafika and I am a 32 year old geologist currently pursuing a PhD. I'm in my final year now and in the midst of finishing up my thesis. This pretty much means I get to work remotely, mainly from home and that my working hours is flexible. This also means your cat gets to be the boss of me :) My husband and I are based in Wimbledon.

Feel free to continue reading about my love for cats, but if you're in a rush and want to avoid a cat novel, here's why I'm your interim cat person :)

1. No litter box is daunting!
2. I have experience giving medication to cats.
3. As a cat owner myself, I know how nerve wrecking it must feel to leave your fury family behind. I'll help take care of your cat as you would, your way, your rules.
4. Cats aren't just animals but companions with emotions. I'll treat your cat with affection and respect.
5. And also, as a person who highly values her personal and private space, be rest assured your private home will be respected.

So, my husband and I are cat lovers. We're both from Malaysia and since moving to London, we had to leave our two kitty boys back home with their nanna. Unfortunately, one of my boys passed away due to genetic kidney disease late last year. While he was sick, thankfully during one of my return visits back home, I made sure he took his medication and that he stayed hydrated. Most importantly, I made sure he received lots of cuddles and knew that he's got our unconditional love. My other boy, well sometimes I think he isn't a cat! He's mischievous but absolutely loving and understanding and we Facetime every week. We've had these two rascals for 8 years now.

I also made a winter/rain shelter in our back garden here in Wimbledon just incase our neighbourhood cats or other animals get caught in a sudden downpour. The whole point of this endless essay is that, I love cats and all animals. I respect and treat them as creatures with emotions like you and me. I'd be honoured to be able to sit your fury family member for you. I can't however do this if there's a dog as I am allergic to them.

Other than being your cat friend/slave doing all the general CatInFlat services (play, clean, feed and sending updates), I'm happy to water your plants and help ventilate your place if you wish.
