Cat sitter in London

Originally from Yorkshire and now living just off Westbourne Grove, I am a travel writer who is incredibly fond of cats.

Though my other half and I would very much like a feline friend of our own, our many work-focused trips mean we would struggle to give him/her the attention he/she deserves, and I see cat sitting as the next best thing.

I have spent the past decade ‘fostering’ cats and kittens for both the RSPCA and the Yorkshire Cat Rescue - looking after them full-time for a number of weeks/months - until they find new homes, meaning my experience is pretty extensive. From administering eye drops, to coaxing purrs from even the most stand-offish cats, I am well-versed in near enough all feline-focused enterprises.

It is safe to say that I enjoy nothing more than settling into an armchair with a snoozing kitty on my lap, and I have in fact been known to cross roads so as to stroke a cat stretching out in the sun on the other side. If you choose me to be your cat sitter, I promise to be a brilliant stand-in parent during your time away!
