About Me

Anastasia - Cat Mother Extraordinaire!

Hi, I’m Anastasia and I just love cats! I am a 6th year medical student studying at the University of Edinburgh. Back home in Ayr, my parents and I live with two cats and I have regularly been responsible for looking after them whenever my parents have needed a cat-sitter. I have been dubbed the “mother of cats” by friends, family and strangers alike - I totally respect cats’ autonomy and can adapt to take care of any kind of personality!

I am incredibly well able to adapt myself into the type of person your cat is comfortable with - all the way from the drama cats who dare you to look in their direction to the needy, separation-anxiety kitties who need cuddles 24/7. As I have grown up with cats, I have honed the techniques for handling them and am able to restrain them without hurting them when, for example, tablets need to be doled out or they simply need a good brushing. I am also able to care for messy cats (whether the mess is caused because they are young, clumsy or old) and clean up after them.

    We were happy to be able to book Anastasia again to look after Clyde during our weekend away. He was looking stressed as he watched me pack - as we don't go away often - but was quite relaxed when we got home. Anastasia sent photos and reassuring texts. Thanks Anastasia.

    Really lovely cat sitter, excellent service. Anastasia was really helpful and flexible in collecting keys and professional throughout. We were sent lots of updates and photos. Our cat felix seemed really happy and well on our return, will book again. 😊

    Anastasia is a lovely girl. She arrived very promptly both for our initial introduction and when we were leaving. She sent a photo every day and Clyde was very relaxed and happy when we returned home. Anastasia had left the house very tidy and we were very happy we had chosen her.
