About Me

Cat sitter in Loughton

Hi! I’m Valentina. I’m 36 and originally from Florence, Italy, but I’ve been living in the UK for over 13 years now.

I’ve been a cat person my whole life. When I was little, I used to beg my parents for a kitty, but living in a tiny flat made it impossible. On my 17th birthday, I finally got the best present ever—a kitten who became my best friend for 18 wonderful years. Now I share my home with two lovely rescue cats, Demi and Ciri, who keep me smiling (and very busy) every day.

I can never resist stopping to say hello (and give a belly rub) to every cat I meet…. even if it makes me late for work!!

When I’m not hanging out with cats (so not very often), I love doing yoga, going to the gym, or getting lost in Epping Forest on long walks. I’m a very creative person—I’ve had just about every hair colour you can think of (right now it’s bright blue!), and I’m VERY passionate about astronomy (I even have the whole solar system tattooed on my arm!).

I work as a retail store manager and I’m also a qualified ear and nose piercer. I recently completed courses in retail management, business, and nutrition, and I’m a certified yoga teacher too (I like to be busy and learn a lot!)

If you’re looking for someone who will care for your cat with lots of love, cuddles, and attention, I’d be so happy to help. I know how much our furry friends mean to us, and I’ll treat yours like part of my own family.

I'm available to come to your place and take care of your kitties.

The services I'm offering are: food and fresh water for your cat cleaning and changing of their litter box play with them and cuddle them brushing and cleaning their fur anything else you/they require

If you are away for holidays, I can take care of your place as well, like plant watering, collecting your parcels and post and take care of other animals if needed.

During my work days I usually pop in before work in the morning and after work in the evening (or in the evening if you need only one visit per day), and on my days off I love to spend some extra time with your kitties during the day. Sometimes I also bring my yoga mat with me so I can spend a few hours and keep your kitty company.

    Valentina was absolutely brilliant, we couldn't have found a better sitter. She went above and beyond to look after our elderly cat Yossey. Yossey absolutely loved her as well and barely seemed to notice that we had gone at all!

    I really can't recommend Valentina enough, she is so kind and attentive and we will definitely be using her again!!

    Valentina took care of our cat on two occasions, including giving him medicine twice a day. We were always sent updates with pictures, which reassured us that everything was well. This last time she even fed our regular foxes! We will definitely book Valentina again in the future

    Valentina was a joy to work with. Our cat is not the most loving in the world but seemed to take a shine to Valentina which can only be a good sign! While away we were send updates and pictures of a happy cat, which was great to see. Would definitely use her again to cat sit Ronnie for us, and recommend her to anyone else that needs a cat sitter. Very nice lady, easy to get on with.

    Valentina has looked after my cats whilst I've been away two times now, and I couldn't be happier. Both my cats love her, including one who is usually very nervous with new people. She really enjoys spending time with them and goes above and beyond what I would expect of a sitter, spending a lot of time giving them fuss and attention. Valentina sends an update and pictures every day without prompting, which really helps put my mind at ease. Very highly recommended!
