Cat sitter in London

I’m Silje, originally from Norway (why the odd name) but I’ve lived in the UK since 2016. Back home my family has five cats between two houses, where one of them is the one I took care of when I lived in Norway. Moving away from Colin (my cat) and not being able to have the company of a cat anymore made me feel like it was something missing from my life, so when I heard about ‘cat in a flat’ I got so excited. I would love to take care of your cat by playing with them, cuddling or any type of attention. Or if they just want some space, I will give them that but make sure they always have fresh water and food. And of course give you updates, as you wish, with pictures.

My experience with cats started when I was 6 years old and we got a family cat. Since then we’ve always had a cat in our house, and other than that I’ve taken care of my friends cats while they’re on holiday. The cats we’ve had in our house have had all types of personalities. Like Colin who is shy but loves a good cuddle on his own terms and Romeo who needs attention all the time and is a bit of a hunter.

I can’t wait to meet all types of personalities and have a good time with different cats!

I work at the office, however, I’m able to sleep over and cuddle (and play) with your lovely cat before and after work!

I’m more than happy to take care of any plants, as I’m a plant mum myself.

    Silje was wonderful! The cats clearly enjoyed her company and were very well looked after. You can tell she really cares about them and wants them to be happy and comfortable, and that she enjoys being around them, which is very comforting. Communication was really good too. Definitely recommend!

    Astrid took to Silje immediately, which is completely unprecedented! She’s normally very shy around new people, so it was lovely to get updates of her enjoying strokes and sits. Silje was really warm and responsive and felt like a safe pair of hands. We’ve already booked her to look after Astrid again

    Silje was great! I felt very comfortable right away with her staying in my home and leaving my kitties with her. Communication was very easy and she kept me updated with how they were doing. I returned to happy and well looked after cats, and had total peace of mind. I (and the cats) hope she will be available when I travel again later in the year!
