About Me
Cat sitter in Glasgow
Hello, I'm Michaela and I'm a zoology graduate from the University of Glasgow. Having been a zoology student means I love all animals, but cats have always been an absolute favourite since I was a child and got my first cat - Smudge. Smudge was a rescue cat, very shy and wary of people and so needed a family who were patient and conscious of his temperament. My years with Smudge taught me how to love a cat that was afraid of the world, and I can now show that same affection and attention to cats with a similar disposition.
After Smudge unfortunately passed, we got two new cats - Pippin and Poggle - both with widely different personalities. Pippin is your typical snuggler and loves to be constantly cuddled, where as Poggle is hyperactive and prefers to be entertained and played with. From these two wonderful creatures I experienced how to care for an even wider margin of cat personalities.
As well as simple care for cats, I also know how to ensure medication is given at appropriate times. Our cat Poggle has an over-active Thyroid and needs oral medication every day, which I have often taken charge with while home. I'm also practiced at flea and tick medication application. Now that I live away from my cats which live with my parents, I'm missing their company and the pleasure it was to care for, play, and cuddle with. I am very attentive, loving, and caring, and I would love to cat sit for your cats any time you need me.
Thank you for reading.
