About Me

Battersea Cat Sitter

Hi, I’m Emily! I live in Battersea with my partner and my recently-adopted 1 year old British Shorthair boy cat. I work part-time, meaning I have plenty of time to devote to your kitties! I’ve been looking after cats through ‘Cat in a Flat’ since 2021, and have met lots of lovely cats who I’ve seen grow up over the years. I’ve made some wonderful human friends too. Prior to this I have experience with my mum’s grumpy old cat Tiger, as well as my boyfriend’s portly ginger gentleman. In addition to my professional cat sitting experience, I’m lucky enough to be the go-to cat sitter for my friends.

I live in Southwest London but am also happy to take overnight bookings throughout Zone 1.

I’m happy with feeding, grooming, changing litter trays, and cleaning up if your cat decides to make a bit of a mess. And of course giving them lots of pets, playtime, and attention!

All cats have different personalities and that’s fine - we can play together, cuddle, or just hang out! I always go at the cat’s pace and let them tell me how much attention they want. I am particularly partial to a cuddly cat and will give them pets for as long as they’d like. I’m also experienced with looking after young kittens, and cats feeling unsettled or anxious due to household changes.

    Emily is absolutely amazing! I always book her because my kitty, Mia, loves her. Whenever we come home after being away, she's happy and relaxed and isn't even mad we left. It's such a relief to know our princess is so well loved and cared for while we're away. Can't recommend enough!

    We were so pleased with Emily as a cat-sitter. She took great care of Macaroni and he clearly loved her. In fact he seemed a little disappointed when she didn't show up on our first day back! Would thoroughly recommend her to anyone.

    Emily was a great sitter to my 2 kittens, lots of updates by WhatsApp where the kittens always looked like they were having a great time. They were relaxed and content when I came back and I had no worries about them while I was away.
