Cat sitter in London
I’m Amelia, and I’ve had cats all my life (seven in total). My current two, who live with me in London, are sisters: one tortoiseshell and (unusually!) a ginger girl.
I’ve looked after all my cats from 8 weeks old well until into their late teens/early twenties so I’m familiar with a wide range of ages and needs, and as they have all had very different personalities I know all the cat quirks in the book (and love them all).
My first cat had renal issues when she got to the age of about 19 and one of my current cats has hayfever and acne, so I’m very used to managing a special diet and giving tablets, ear drops, eye drops and topical cream.
Our cats have been a mix of single kittens, littermates, and kittens introduced to older cats, so I’m also familiar with managing varying cat relationships.
I live in Highbury and will travel locally to check in on your cat before and/or after work, staying for a while to make sure they are happy and comfortable and get some much-needed (by me!) cuddles or playtime!
I’m good at coaxing shyer cats round to feel comfortable with a new person (moving and talking slowly and quietly, and approaching at their level instead of from above them). I love a nice snuggle with a lap cat, as well as playing with a more energetic kitty—few things more funny than seeing a cat pounce on a toy that’s just vanished around out of their line of sight!
