cat sitter?
About Me
Very experienced cat carer, cuddler and animal rescue volunteer
Thanks for taking the time to consider me - look no further for a reliable, caring sitter for your treasured feline friends! I have lots of pet care experience, and have a particular passion for cats.
I've been lucky enough to receive some lovely feedback from people I've pet/house-sat for, and here are some of their comments:
"A job well done! thank you very much. You came before so we could explain everything and kept us posted with a couple of pics of our fury friends whilst we were away - you both looked after our animals and house very well, thank you :)" Sarah, Guildford
"Louisa looked after our sneaky Mozambican dogs Duka and Lila, and PI our little cheeky fat cat, and we cannot recommend her highly enough. On returning from our break in Norway we found our pets looking like they had just returned from the hair salon and massage parlor, and our home was spotlessly clean... thank you Louisa!!!" Natasja, Churt
"We have had the pleasure of many worry-free holidays, knowing that our house and cat are in such capable and loving hands. Whenever we return from being away, Alfie is in such a well-cared for and contented state, he barely acknowledges us - which shows how happy he is to have Louisa to stay. 100% reliable, extremely well-organised, easy to communicate with, and a lovely person too." Lucy, Farnham
In terms of my personal cat-caring history, the story begins with my first cat Silky who I got as a sixth birthday present after asking my parents for several years beforehand... since then I've adopted a large number of rescue cats over the years, primarily the hard-to-rehome 'golden oldies' who needed a little extra and TLC. These fabulous oldies were all adopted from my local branch of the Cats Protection charity, for whom I have volunteered for many years now.
My current cat is Georgie, who was found as a very 'human-shy' and heavily pregnant stray a few years ago. With the help of Farnham Cats Protection, she was trapped and spent the next few months in my front room, where her kittens were born. Georgie was very frightened of humans and could not be handled, but she took good care of the kittens, who found homes once they were old enough. She has got more and more friendly over the years, and now enjoys fuss and tickles, but always on her terms, naturally.
I hope this gives you an idea of my experience with friends of the feline variety, and I'd be honoured to look after your cats so do get in touch.
I'd be delighted to not only look after the material needs of your cat with food, time, and tickles (plus tray cleaning and medication as appropriate, naturally), but also to spend time with them so they hopefully miss you a bit less!
I can offer a lot of experience with shy, nervous and also older cats and am happy to meet their needs, too.
On request I'm more than happy to send updates as often as you'd like so you know your feline friends are happy.
