Experienced Cat Lover

Dear Cat Lover,

I am Melanie, 39 years of age, originally from Germany but came to the UK 8 years ago.

As I used to work as a live in Nanny, therefore I know how to respect the privacy of someone elses home.

I now work in private care, supporting elderly clients in their home.

I am a very caring person and am confident to look after pets, particularly cats - as I have turned into a cat lover! I started housesitting in 2017 when I took some time off work to write books. I since have published 2 books but am still doing the cat sitting on and off, because I love it so much. I have gained great friends this way (human and cats).

I am a quiet person in my and other peoples homes. I like to cook, read and watch documentaries.

I have come across many cats who were shy or cautious due to experiences in their past and I am happy to give them space until they are ready to come to me. They have however (up until now) always come to me quite quickly and made friends.

I am adaptable and will use your instructions on what to feed, how much attention your cat needs and how to respect the security and privacy of your house.
