About Me

All-inclusive cat sitting around Watford, St Albans, Harpenden and Redbourn

Hello,

My name is Hattie and I am an all round animal enthusiast with a special love for cats! I grew up with a whole menagerie at home so I have always had cats around, including plenty of strays my family would feed. More recently, I have graduated with a degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare and started a job as a zookeeper. I have been a zookeeper for 7 years - working with the domestic section, looking after, feeding, cleaning and doing medical checks on a whole host of different farmyard and exotic species.

I am meticulously clean and have a keen eye for reading feline behaviour. I am over the moon to give cats cuddles but very understanding of cats who like their own space or take a while to warm up to strangers. I love trying out new toys with cats to see how they react, and trigger happy on the camera to send lots of updates to their mums and dads. I have lots of experience looking after a range of animals, and used to medicating all sorts! I'm level headed when faced with emergencies. I know all animals are equipped with different personalities and I will always ensure I provide your cat with all of their needs.

    Hattie is really lovely and did a great job of looking after my cat and my house for 3 days. She is easy to communicate with, very friendly, and I would highly recommend her to anyone. My cat was quite happy to curl up on her legs at night so she clearly put her at ease and made her feel well looked after.

    Hattie was a 5 star pet sitter. She was able to get Lulu (our cat) to trust her from the start, which is not an easy feat. She was reliable, friendly, communicative and Lulu loved her.

    We came back to a pristine house and a very happy cat indeed. I think Lulu will miss Hattie more than she missed us....

    I will use Hattie again in future for peace of mind and a very happy cat 😸

    Highly recommended if you want a superb cat sitter!

    First time I used Cat in a Flat and I could not be happier. Hattie was very nice, professional and trust worthy. She took very good care of our little Rey including cuddle and playtime and updated me every day with cute videos or photos. We arrived back home to a clean house and even our plants were watered. 10/10 would recommend Hattie anytime and looking forward to booking her again.

    The second time we have booked Hattie to take of our cat, and she is brilliant! Regular updates and we came back to a very happy, relaxed cat.
