Experienced and friendly former cat owner who loves looking after cats

I am 38 years old and an self-employed autistic peer mentor, neurodivergent advocate and speaker, Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Consultant specialising in neurodivergent inclusion in the workplace. I'm also a trustee at Camden Disability Action, life model, writer, improviser, singer, amateur cellist, adult ballerina and tap dancer :). I have recently been DBS checked for my work.

My experience includes caring for two and then three family cats as a teenager and into my 20s: Jasmine, Melanie and Jasper (two rescue cats from the RSPCA Mayhew Animal Home) and for a while we had four kittens too, as a result of Jasmine getting prenant before she could be neutered (Jasper was the kitten we kept).

Whilst living with my parents I have also owned and enjoyed caring for numerous rodents and smaller pets such as multiple rats, guinea pigs, gerbils, mice and various goldfish.

Unfortunately, I am now in a flat which isn't suitable for pets and I miss having cats badly. :(. So it would be lovely and my pleasure to look after other's cats in the meantime, as I find it very good for my wellbeing, and really enjoy being around animals. Due to the nature of my work, which is mostly remote and can be done whilst cat sitting, I also have a lot of flexibility in my schedule.

I have extensive experience now also looking after cats from this website and am able to provide good references if needed.

I am happy to offer and a free meet and greet to get to know your cat and see if I'd be suitable for your needs.

I am happy giving cuddles, tummy scratches, treats and strokes, playing with them with any of their favourite toys, changing the litter and making sure they are served fresh food and water at suggested times.

I am also happy giving regular updates/photos and staying overnight.

I'm happy to work anywhere which is not more than 45 minutes by tube from Hampstead.
