Cats are my favourite people.

Cats have always been in my life and are my great passion.When growing up, we had many, many cats from kittens and also rescue cats, and cats that just moved in! My family seem to attract cats!

I guarantee that I will fuss and love your cat as if they were my own!If you have a shy cat, I will respect their wishes and make sure they have everything they need.

Presently, I do not own a cat as my beautiful boy, Sooty, died of a rare cancer a few years ago. He was only 5 1/2 years old so it was a great shock...I devoted my time into caring for him for the last months (he was given weeks to live when diagnosed but lived for 6 months as happily as was possible). I learned so much about alternative medication during this time (my insurance allowed for complementary treatments) as he was badly allergic to the conventional medicines and also some of the very commercial foodstuffs available. It was amazing seeing how the therapist dealt with Soots... he was pretty wild with most other vets but with her, just so happy.

I am not yet ready to own a cat again due to re-location plans with work (I am a primary school supply teacher and also visual artist) - so think that cat sitting would be perfect for me right now.

I am particularly adept at caring for shy or nervous cats. My patience is endless when it comes to winning round a new furry friend.
