About Me
Catering for Cats in Huddersfield/Bradford!
Hello!
About me:
I'm a Social Psychology student at the Open University, and a mother of two. I am an 'extrovert in disguise' and mould to my surroundings to compliment the personalities of those around me (whether person or animal!).
Cat experience:
My experience is based on being a cat owner throughout my childhood (and now I’ve looked after a number of cats via this website!). Her name was Pippa. She unfortunately had to get put down when I was 19 but she led a long and very happy life. One of my earliest memories is of the day we went to the rescue centre to choose a cat - as we came upon Pippa, we got told that she was probably not going to come out of her hiding place because she was very shy. At that moment, she came right up to the front, standing up on her hind legs and meowing to get us to pick her! I was sold (and so were my parents)! She was a very special cat that brought us a lot of joy and fit in with our family very well, but frankly all cats are great!
Service:
I would go above and beyond when coming to feed your cat by spending plenty of time stroking and playing with them as well (if they so wish!). I can send daily pictures of your cat for reassurance and keep you fully informed of how they're doing. I am also happy to water plants, open windows whilst I'm inside to let in some fresh air, bring in some essential groceries just before you arrive home (if you leave me some cash), feed the fish, sign for package deliveries you may have arriving... just ask!
Other info:
Depending on petrol prices, how far away you live and how long the booking is for, I may ask for an additional payment towards travel expenses.
I will only cat-sit in homes that are suitably maintained for a good standard of cat health.
