About Me

The ultimate cat friend

I'm experienced cat sitter with 5 star service with over 5 years of experience. I also have plenty of experience with other pets, rabbits, guinea pigs and the odd goldfish.

Generally I work in Leith and surrounding areas. Though sometimes will go further a field. I am learning to drive so eventually hoping I can go further afield.

Your pet will be the center of my attention and will receive a lot of love, play and attention from me. 

I have been doing cat sitting for 5+ years with both daily drop ins and over night stays.  

The drop in service is technically for 30 minutes of care per visit, however it does tend to be roughly 45-60 per visit depending on the pet. This includes, feeding, litter change, play and strokes/cuddles if they want them, guarantee your cat will be happy and well looked after by me and if you would like me to send pictures, videos and daily updates I am happy to do this as well. 

If it is overnight stay then price covers evening to morning feed and care. I try to be in as much as possible during the day, but I may have other clients booked. On first day I usually coming in around 6pm in the evening and staying until around 8 am the final morning after feeding and anything else they need. However if you need me to start sooner or stay later I can do this as well, depending on the situation there may be additional cost.

I have a very flexible schedule to suit you needs whether it is a single visit, meal times morning and evening. Overnight stays for pets who are need that bit of extra attention, you can let me know when is best for you and your pets needs and I will make my schedule to match where I can.

I am specially great with shy and timid cats, they tend to trust me quickly and feel comfortable being around me. I am a cat owner, my cat was rescued from a bad situation, so I know the importance of having a loving home. 

I am available holidays, half term and last minute.

    Wouldn't trust anyone else with our boys. Coming home to happy, relaxed cats, knowing they've been cared for and had all their medicines as scheduled is such a relief.

    Also, our scaredy cat LOVES Ginger, despite being scared of EVERYONE.

    Great at catsitting! My cat took to Ginger instantly and had a great time. Very attentive and the pictures helped ease my anxiety about leaving him alone so long. Definitely recommend!

    Absolutely incredible. One of our cats needs meds, one is super anxious, but we came home to two very happy, calm boys! Ginger kept us updated and took amazing care of our boys.

    I can't imagine ever using anyone else again!

    Ginger was great from start to finish - professional, kind, organised, and accommodating. She went above and beyond. My cats loved Ginger - I think they're sad I'm home now as Ginger won't be looking after them. Would highly recommend.

    Our first time using a cat sitter and this all went very well. Contact was prompt and happy to carry out all the tasks we asked for. Excellent communication with lots of pictures and info whilst we were away which was very reassuring. We returned to a happy well cared for cat. I would be happy to use Ginger services when next away and found her very trustworthy.

    We've found an excellent new cat sitter - hooray! Ginger's done a brilliant job for us this last week. She checked in on final plans before we left and the top-notch communication carried on from there with messages, pics and videos throughout the week. She sent us final updates after her last visit including that she'd cleaned any surfaces she'd touched and aired out our home in anticipation of our return/covid precautions. We returned home to find a clean home and - most importantly - a happy, welcoming, healthy and affectionate cat. Couldn't ask for more!

    I was in London for 5 days and needed my elderly cat (23) taken care of by someone extremely sensitive to Marigold's needs and routine. Laura gave above and beyond the care required by keeping me posted with updates as I requested but did not, necessarily, insist upon.

    I returned home to a very chilled out, satisfied Marigold and with Laura's empathetic personality I have booked and will book her again and again.

    She is a five star cat sitter in my view.
