About Me
Bath's Cat Whisperer
Hello, my name is Andrew, I live in Bath and I work for myself as a videographer.
I had a cat called Lynx who was born on Fireworks Night in 1993. Her favourite foods were custard and chicken. She liked sleeping, sitting on people and clawing your stuff. She died on August 20th 2014 after 20 long years of cuddles and purring. She was my best friend.
Whilst I could never replace her, I still have lots of love for the noble cat people as I get them and they get me. I know a cat’s trust and respect must be earned and they only like being bothered when they fancy it, but they all love a bit of company none the less.
(Update: My parents rescued a big teddy bear cat called Uncle Bimba and he is my friend - see instagram)
Cat's hate a lot of stuff, but most of all cats hate other cats. Those other cats are bad cats they'd tell ya. But another thing they hate is to be poked and prodded by an annoying human. To really earn a cat’s trust you have to get on their level. Literally. So I always make it a habit on a first visit to sit either on the floor or wherever they like to sit so they can feel that “we’re all cats together”. If I were to visit your cat friend you would get plenty of value for money. I make first-rate cat dinners, am very skilled in sneaking their medicine into their favourite treats. Lately, I seem to have carved out a niche of cats who need extra attention (old, deaf, blind, disabled etc...) and I've made some really good friends. I will spend plenty of time hanging out with your lil' buddy, giving them a stroke or sharing a look out of the window at all the stupid dogs going by. I'll also message you with little videos so you can see all the fun me and your little rascals are having.
