About Me

Oakham-based catsitter!

I'm Sophie, I'm 26 and I live in Oakham, Rutland. I have 1 cat - Missy, who is 17. I've had several cats before, and have owned them all my life - I had Angel, Splat, and Joyce when I was a kid, and recently had a 14-year-old cat called Willow who unfortunately passed away in early 2025. I have also volunteered at a local cattery, feeding and looking after cats.

I’m happy to spend a few hours with your cat & give them all the fuss and attention they need! I’m also happy administering medication!

    Sophie is great with Crispin, very sensitive to his needs. His needs are many being an old cat. This time he lacked interest in his food and she managed to suggest and try something he did like. We are very grateful for her kindness and patience with Crispin.

    Huge thanks to Sophie who looked after our old cat Crispin so I credibly. She attended to his every need and had a gift for making friends with him in an amazingly fast time. When we got home he was chilled and well cared for. Next time I will have peace of mind

    Sophie is absolutely first-rate and we could not recommend her highly enough. She made time to come and get to know the cats, asked pertinent questions (that I would have potentially overlooked). Sophie sent us photos of the cats and kept us up to date. We arrived home late yesterday to perfectly content kitties. Thanks Sophie!

    Sophie was great at communicating with us whilst we were away and went out of her way to make sure our cat was happy. I felt confident that he was in safe hands and we came home to a happy and contented cat.
