I am a writer and also a film and theatre actor and comedian.

I moved to Hebden Bridge almost three years ago and love it! I am a Nichirin Buddhist and believe it is important to have compassion and caring for all living creatures (including people).

I have two gorgeous cats (Venus and Mickey Zeus). Venus came here from London and is about 12. Mickey came from a multi cat household in Bradford and is a British Blue Shorthair! He has big paws and wants to play piano! They are gorgeous loving cats and live a very happy life with me. I adore cats and feel it is important to love and care for them as they are special spirits in this world who spread joy and happiness as long as they are well treated.

Cat trays are the least loveable thing about cats but I am prepared to clean them. I also like grooming cats as they usually love being brushed and it makes them feel secure. I am a good cat petter and usually know which bits to touch without them getting annoyed and biting my hand off.

I offer love, cuddles, treats playing and whatever a cat wishes - I can administer medicine but not injections. When I cat sit I can do half hour visits or longer to make sure the cat or cats get used to me and prefer to visit twice a day so the cat doesn’t feel neglected.
