Hi, I’m Cathy. As a cat owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone genuinely caring and like-minded to look after your kitties when you’re away.

I’ve had cats all my life and love their unique personalities and quirks. I understand that cats do best when they feel safe, respected, and unhurried, and I always take time to let them set the pace.

I’m also happy to house-sit if I’m available. I work in Project Management in Bristol, which means I’m very organised and reliable, and I usually have the flexibility to care for cats in and around my immediate area. I’m more than happy to agree a clear routine with you for feeding, playtime, and cuddles.

I’d love to take care of your cats and always have plenty of fusses ready, plus healthy treats if you’re happy for me to give them.

For your reassurance, I’m DBS checked.

I’m also always on the lookout for fellow trusted cat sitters to care for my own furry babies, Stanton and Rocket, whenever I need cover 🙂

During a booking, my priority is making sure your kitty feels calm, cared for, and comfortable in their own home while you’re away.

I’ll follow your cat’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays, and any specific instructions you provide. I always spend time with each cat, whether that’s playing with their favourite toys, offering cuddles, or simply sitting quietly with them if they prefer gentle company.

I’m very mindful that every cat is different, so I take my lead from them and never force interaction. Their wellbeing and happiness always come first.

If you’d like, I’m also happy to send regular photo updates and messages so you can see how your cat is getting on and enjoy a little peace of mind while you’re away.

You can expect clear communication, reliability, and thoughtful care, treating your cat and your home with the same respect and attention I give my own.

    Cathy is great. They came round to collect the keys a couple of days before the days that we'd booked them for, asked all of the important questions and immediately made friends with Meg (who has discerning tastes - great first steps!). We went away during a heatwave, so I asked Cathy if they wouldn't mind watering my tomatoes and chillis over the weekend. They were happy to oblige and we came home to lots of happy plants. We got a daily update on how Meg was doing, along with a few photos to show her playing and nuzzling. I wouldn't hesitate to book Cathy again and will be doing so for a weekend in the near future when we'll be away again. It's good to know that we have someone nearby who we can trust to do a great job. Thanks Cathy!

    It seems like Comet has a new best friend. Cathy was good and very reliable, she sent us a picture of Comet every day. Comet is usually very shy but she made friends with Cathy almost instantly. I would use Cathy again.

    Cathy was a phenomenal catsitter for the rather long period my husband and I were away from home. Her communication before, during and after the booking was always prompt, friendly and thorough. She sent us photos and updates every day we were gone, which made us feel very at ease about being away from our two cats. Our cats seemed to love her and she gave them plenty of attention, play time, treats, and cuddles each day. They were completely normal and relaxed when we returned. Couldn't have asked for a better catsitter and experience! Thank you Cathy!
