About Me
Feeding and fussing cats in the Southside
I'm a writer and charity worker based in G41, just around the corner from Shawlands train station and Pollok Park.
I've always loved cats, and have had pet cats for the last 8 years.
I currently have two cats, Leon (aged 10) and Tony (aged 1) who are both rescues, and have quite different temperaments, as Tony is very playful and energetic and Leon is more laidback and into being brushed. I'll adapt to whatever you cat likes best and make sure they're well looked after and entertained, as well as fed and watered with their litter kept clean and tidy.
My old cat, Ozi had a heart murmur and needed daily medication, which means I am very comfortable with giving cats medicine, and taking care of older and poorly cats.
As a cat owner myself I also give excellent chin strokes and cuddles if that's what the cat likes, and know when they'd rather have some dreamies left for them from a safe distance while they get to know a new person. I can give medicine and happily keep a cat entertained, or leave them to their own devices if that's what they prefer.
I currently live with two beautiful tabbies: Leon, who's 10 years old. and Tony who is one year old. When Leon first came to live with us he was 3 and extremely playful and inquisitive. He's maturing into a more laidback old age, but still loves to play - just on his own terms when he feels like it now!
Tony is a very energetic kitten; when we rescued him the centre warned us that he was very timid and while he has definitely come out of his shell with us he is a bit suspicious of other people.
Leon's brother Ozi passed away in 2020, after a short but happy life. Ozi had a heart condition and needed daily medication, so I'm very comfortable with cats who need a little extra care, including giving medicine and making sure the follow special diets.
