About Me

Doctor who loves cats!

Hello! I am GP in Bristol who specialises in Paediatrics. I started cat sitting when I moved to London in 2016 as a junior doctor and have been cat sitting ever since. I am excited to be carrying it on now I have moved back to my hometown of Bristol with my husband. It is something I really enjoy, and I like knowing I can provide your cat with care and comfort whilst you are away. I am an animal lover, and I love cats in particular, having had them as pets all my life!

My family’s two beautiful cats called Rocky and Sasha actually turned out to be half Maine Coon, so they are big gentle giants and I love them to bits! My husband and I have got a rescue cat called Doris and although she likes to be independent, she is a softy at heart!

I would love the opportunity to take care of your much loved, fluffy family members and will love to feed them, play with them and give them lots of fuss so they feel at ease while you are away. I also have a many years of experience administering medications to cats including insulin injections.

I am responsible, reliable, friendly and feel comfortable around all animals. I am brilliant with cats, whether they are shy or confident. While you are away, you can feel 100% reassured your cats are in safe hands, and I will always send a video or photo update after each visit.

Ps. I always reply within 24hrs to requests so you know immediately whether I am available or not.

I am very happy to visit once or twice a day depending on your cat’s needs. My visits will include feeding (as per your instructions), ensuring a constant supply of water, sorting their litter tray, giving the cats lots of attention, strokes and cuddles. If they have a favourite toy I will play with them, and I am happy to groom them if that’s what they enjoy! I can sit with them to make sure they get company.

I have experience administering medications to cats, including insulin injections.

I will always be extremely careful with security in your home, locking the door behind me, ensuring your cat(s) and your house are both safe.

I am also happy to water plants!

I have had guinea pigs as pets before and also experienced at taking care of rabbits. Happy to look after rabbits, any rodents and fish.

    Lovely Jo looked after my cat while I was away in Cornwall. I felt very comfortable leaving Jack alone at home, knowing he would have company after Jo finished work. Jo went to the effort of visiting before her shift at work knowing we would be home before her usual evening visit on the last day. Thank you!
