About Me

Experienced cat sitter based in Stockport.

My name is Em, I'm in my mid 30s and work for the NHS as a Registered Nurse. I live in Stockport with my partner Benny, we currently have a cat gang of 3: Taco, Salsa and Peaches-Gringa. They all get along amazingly and love to wash and play with eachother.

I absolutely adore animals, especially cats. I love how independent but loving they can be, as well as just cute, fluffy and silly!

I have plenty of experience with cats: from family pets growing up to the start of my own cat family over 15 years ago.

I began cat sitting for friends and neighbours over 10 years ago. This led to being recommended to friends of friends. I have been cat sitting on Cat In A Flat since 2018.

I have experience of volunteering for the RSPCA with cats. I am DBS checked through my employer with the NHS which has been verified to use Cat In A Flat.

I have cat sat whilst living in Chorlton, Levenshulme and Stockport. I now mostly cover Heaton Norris and central Stockport.

Occasionally my partner Benny helps with cat sits, this will always be discussed with you prior to visits. Benny is an artist, art technician and teacher. He is also DBS checked through his education employer.

I have recently reduced my catchment area due to other commitments. If I have recently cat sit for you and you're now outside of the catchment area, please get in touch and I may still be able to cat sit for you, subject to availability.

Prior to the booking I will arrange to come meet you and your cat(s). Here we can go over requirements, sort keys etc.

I always offer updates on how your cats are doing whilst you're away, this can be each visit, daily and with photos or just every few days, whatever you prefer :)

My service can also include extras such as putting aside post/parcels, opening/closing curtains, putting bins out and watering plants.

    We would definitely recommend Em! Our cats loved her from her first visit and she spent plenty of time with them, taking time to play with them and give them attention as well as taking care of their needs. She sent us updates after every visit which made us feel a lot better about being away from them. She even watered the plants!
