About Me

Experienced cat companion even for timid cats

Lifelong cat befriender, I work freelance so fit in my cat obsession around a varying schedule.

My work can involve working with children and vulnerable adults so I have an up to date enhanced DBS check. My reputation professionally and personally is as someone who is trustworthy and reliable.

I was born into a cat loving household, and the height of cat ownership was 9 at its peak!

Currently, I live with 2 rescue cats (mother and daughter) who are 13 + 14 ish years old now. When they first came to me they were barely socialised, but after patience and trust building through feline communication skills they're now my best furry friends.

I use cat sitting services myself when going away, so understand its importance, and the reassurance needed. I am also an experienced Airbnb user (both as a guest and host), meaning I'm familiar with the nature of being in someone else's home and the level of trust and responsibility involved.

Despite my fondness for felines I understand that not every cat immediately befriends a newcomer, and have lots of experience around cautious cats. I'll happily have a play and a cuddle if they let me. But if they're shy I won't force anything, and will allow them to get used to me being in their space (and hopefully win them over).

I've been on Catinaflat for a few years now and have built up a regular client base and got to know my local cats and their humans well.

  • Patience and experience with cautious and nervous cats
  • Can send video/ photo updates (please make sure there is access to wifi for this)
  • I fit cat sitting around my other work commitments so only cat sit in my immediate local area to guarantee being able to spend a good amount of time with them.
  • I often have lots of reading/writing to do for work, so will sometimes combine this with my visit. I find this an effective and unobtrusive way for cats to get used to me being in their space. They seem to love to cuddle up whilst I'm reading quietly in a corner!

    AVOID, SCAMMER. I booked her for 9 days. I stopped hearing from her 2 days after I left. Didn’t hear from her in 48h, checked my camera records, and not only she didn’t visit at all some days, and some visits were 3 and 5 minutes. I gave her the opportunity to explain, but she never did. I had to cancel my booking while I was far away and booked someone else instead. This was incredibly distressing, putting my cats welfare at risk. -- SITTER'S RESPONSE -- Records will show that cancellation & full refund was at my request due to the owner's concerning behavior & harassment. Handover to a new sitter was completed within 2hrs. Visits/timings were clearly outlined around my work schedule & completed as agreed. Updates, photos & videos of happy cats were sent via WhatsApp. Communication gaps were due to the owner’s overseas travel, connectivity & time difference. They’d send multiple messages overnight whilst I was asleep! My 20+ consistently positive reviews demonstrate my reliability and care.

    We went away for 3 weeks and Peyvand visited Molly every other day, she was very reliable and sensitive about Molly's shyness and her love of drinking water in the garden. She sent some lovely pictures of Molly after very visit and they were obviously becoming good friends. I'd definitely recommend Peyvand to anyone.

    Peyvand was amazing with our kitten Pippa. She watched her twice a day for a week while we were on holiday and sent regular updates of the two of them playing, cuddling, etc. Pippa was extremely well taken care of and we are very thankful!

    Peyvand was amazing, I would highly recommend her. It was my first time using a cat sitter and I was a little bit scared to have a stranger coming into my home but Peyvand was lovely. She's made sure to always send picture and video updates, which helped a lot to make the time away from my cat a little better. I will definitely contact her next time I need a cat sitter.

    Peyvand did an excellent job of looking after our cat Jazz. We needed a sitter who had plenty of experience as Jazz is a rescue cat and can be a little temperamental! I got lots of pictures and videos of Jazz while I was away, and came home to a happy cat. I would definitely recommend Peyvand and would use her again without any hesitation.
