About Me
Cat sitter in Leeds
Hello :)
My good friends would describe me as friendly, kind, caring, thoughtful, responsible, creative and respectful.
I work as an academic and as a support worker for disabled students at the University of Leeds. My role required me to successfully pass a DBS check.
I have gorgeous kittens of my own, Jazz and Katniss Everdeen! Yes, she is named after the female heroin of the Hunger Games! :)
I have a lifetimes worth of experience of looking after animals, having grown up with a cat of my own, as well as my grandparents pedigree cocker spaniels, who won a lot of rosettes at local and international dog shows! :)
I also have experience in looking after my friends' pets, including cats, dogs, African snails, fish, and hamsters, and am happy to provide references on request.
I am happy to do daily visits in Leeds, or to stay overnight and look after the house, as well as the cat. Indeed, I am particularly keen on overnight stays that may give me the opportunity to visit and explore another part of the UK :)
I love being around cats because each one has their own individual character and they are a joy to get to know, and communicate with. I strongly believe in being attentive to the body language of each individual animal, and responding to this in an appropriate manner, in ensuring that they get their needs and desires met. If you hire me to look after your cat, I will be very keen to learn about the cats character, likes and dislikes, so that I can give it the best care possible, whether it likes being cuddled, or left alone, I see it as my job to adapt to and respond to them.
Please do feel free to ask me any further questions.
I very much look forward to working with you :)
Warmly, Alexa
