Longtime Cat Person

Hello, I've been a cat person since forever, and as I currently live in a catless flat, I must admit I miss daily interaction with them. (Hence deciding to sign up to Catinaflat!) We always had cats when I was growing up, and I still get prevailed upon to act as Staff to Matilda, my Mother's tabby. Other recent and fairly regular cat-sitting has been done for friends and colleagues in and around Edinburgh, the Western Isles, London and Somerset. I can provide references if necessary. I'm currently living in Marchmont, Edinburgh, so am hoping to acquire a few new whiskered friends through Catinaflat. I've recently completed a PhD in filmmaking at Napier, where I also teach part-time. I've also published a few books (none of them about cats, sadly!). Other interests include cinema, art, reading, second hand bookshops, and walking. I'm a non-smoker and cyclist as well.

I always spend as much time as possible with cats when I meet them. So that means making sure they've had enough to eat (without spoiling them), dispensing treats, cuddles, and general quality time.
