Expert cat care!

Hello, my name is Gypsy. Yes - real name. I am a shy and quiet person with a lifetime of feline care experience, and well over ten years of cat rescue and rehabilitation experience. I am qualified in feline psychology and rehabilitation and live in a cat rescue home. I can administer medication including subcutaneous injections. I am devoted to cats and their welfare, with strong references to support as such, and am a trustworthy person. With notice, I am available for overnight or prolonged cat sitting. With plenty of notice (3 weeks, ideally) I am open to travelling anywhere in the country, provided it's for house-sitting and my companion can join me. I am able to provide proof of my clean DBS check, both on paper and digitally.

My availability is almost always open.

I also have plenty of experience - both professionally and personally - with many other species, including (but not limited to): dogs (most breeds), small animals and rodents, reptiles, aquatics, avians, insects and amphibians. I have a definite love for hedgehogs.

I hold a diploma in Animal Psychology, and, Petsitting and Dogwalking. I am working on my Level 3 Animal Care diploma.

Kittens love snuggling into my scarf and falling asleep. I have plenty of "stored cuddles" too. I understand their communication and will also clean litter trays. I can undertake all feline duties including, but not limited to, medication administration, litter cleaning and poop scooping, observation, snuggling and cuddling and playing and chasing, nose rubs and back scratches, possible claw trimming if requested and the kitty lets me.

I have a special soft spot for senior cats, and extensive experience in senior cat care.

I will also feed your wildlife and top up bird feeders at no extra cost, as well as alternating switching on lights and opening and closing curtains for security.

I am happy to negotiate prices and discounts for multiple sittings, and certainly for extended overnight stays.

• Housesitting will include household chores and maintenance, watering plants (I don't have a green thumb though, I can do basic plant care!) walking dogs, mail collection, taking messages without alerting people to your absence, medication administration.
