My Experience with Cats

I am a previous cat owner. He was from a rescue centre and they estimated his age as 18 months. Tips was black with white paws. He had a little tip at the end of his tail which is why we called him Tips! I loved his independent and playful nature and used to play with him with whatever toy or bit of grass he liked the look of!

When we got him he was a very timid cat and would be very cautious of people, but he became extremely affectionate and we earned his trust over time. I learned how to read his behaviour which helped him to feel safe. He came to really like being a part of our family and would like to sit on our lap as we’d all watch tv together!

What Can I Offer?

I would love to 'cat sit' because I absolutely love cats and I understand how much warmth they add to a household and family. I greatly miss my old boy, Tips. He passed away peacefully after living a full unlimited life.

I understand the importance of a cat’s unique way of communicating. For example, if they desire attention, sleep, appetite and exercise/hunting routine. I will be an extremely reliable cat-sitter and will be excited to meet and provide your cat with lots of play time and affection when he/she wants. Most importantly they will be in safe hands and I’ll do everything to make sure they feel loved and care for while you’re away.

Visits to provide cuddles, play time, feeding, changing of water and/or litter tray, cleaning/tidying items used by cats. I am familiar with dietary requirements of cats e.g. urinary problems. I am also happy to help to put the post in a pile or to take the bins out so you don’t come back from your holiday to a pile of post by the door or full bins!
