About Me
Your cat's new best friend in Palmers Green

I'm Sam, hi! I'm a calligrapher and mature PhD student based in Palmers Green. I live with my partner, Rich, and our parrot, Katie.
Our beloved cat, Rupert, passed away in 2017, and I joined Cat in a Flat to share the love and cuddles I perfected on him with other cats in the area. As well as looking after Rupert from his kittenhood, I grew up with cats, and spent time volunteering at the Wood Green cat shelter in 2017-18. I also have lots of experience with parrots (my grandparents bred them), so if there are any birds in the house I would be happy to help with them too!
Having been a Cat in a Flat user previously, I know how things work, and as well as making sure that your furry family member is fed and watered, if they like to play, cuddle or be groomed I am more than happy to spend time with them doing just that. I'll also send you photos from each time I see them, so that you know what they're up to in your absence!
Please note that during peak times (e.g. summer and Christmas holidays) a very small additional fee is added to my prices.
I will spend a minimum of 20-30 mins with your cat, but likely longer depending on how much attention they want! Playing and grooming are staples of my service, and I enjoy the challenge of keeping long fur beautifully maintained on even the most unwilling of feline clients. I also have a knack for befriending even the most shy cats - including those that have been recently adopted. If any problems arise I will contact you straight away, and will go above and beyond to make sure your cat is safe and healthy.
After every visit I will message to let you know how your furry friend is doing, and I'll send multiple photos/videos of what they've been up to that day. Many of my photos have gone down so well with clients that they have been framed. A number of my cat friends have also been chosen by Cat in a Flat as their 'cat of the day' on social media.
I'm also a reliable pair of hands to trust with your property whilst you are away. I keep the areas I have access to clean and tidy, wash the cat bowls before every refill, and water any plants - indoors or out - that need attention. I can also put mail in a safe place and open/close curtains and turn lights on and off to make your property appear occupied throughout your absence.
