Crazy Cat Carer - No Cat Too Difficult! (& Plant lover 🌱)

Hi! My name is Aurora, I’m 27 years old and I own 6 cats. I would happily own more if I had more space! My love for cats started as a teenager with my step-mum’s cat Peanut. He was an extremely sweet, all white, deaf boy and I fell in love with him! Prior to this I actually used to consider myself a dog person. Months after I moved in with my partner we adopted our first cat, quickly turning into 6 cats over the years. As I’ve gotten older I’ve really appreciated the independent attitude of a cat. There’s nothing like earning the trust and affection of a shy, skittish kitty! 😻

I live in Shuttlewood, near Bolsover. I drive and have my own transport so I'm happy to travel. Depending on distance I require extra to cover costs of travel so I would generally prefer to cat sit within a 3 mile radius. An additional charge of 50p per mile for any distance over 3 miles (for example, 5 miles away would cost an additional £1 each way, £2 per visit)

I am very experienced with cat care and understand cat behaviour quite well. I have good experience with shy and skittish cats and have watched my own cats improve immensely from previously being very shy. I also have experience looking after a litter of kittens as well as with cats that don’t get on too well. Nothing is too difficult for me when it comes to cats!

My cats are fed a raw diet (I’ve been told by others that feeding time at my house is chaos!) so I am happy to cater to any special diets and any amount of cats 😉

I also have experience administering medications (oral/topical) to my own cats, I do not have experience with injections but as a diabetic I’m sure I would be fast to learn for any cats that require them.

Additionally, I’m a big lover of plants and own at least 30 houseplants (I’ve never counted.) I’m happy to take care of any plants during visits for a small fee. I can also look after any other animals in the home including dogs.
