About Me

Oscar is Pawsome!

Hi there!

My name's Oscar, I'm 28 and a civil servant. I've lived in Taunton a couple of years now and been a cat owner since I got my ginger baby Loki 11 years ago, but a cat-lover for a whole lot longer! My partner and I currently own a very vocal Tuxedo cat named Maisie who loves to tear up and down the stairs and has declared our Christmas tree her sworn enemy, and a 6 month old kitten called Ralph who is an absolute cuddle monster.

I'm the person you pass on the street that's crouched down going "pspsppspsssspss" to a cat that isn't theirs in the hope of giving a lovely kitty a quick fuss on their way to the train station.

I'm really happy to hang out with any cats at pretty much any time, I just love them all!

I love chatting to cats when I pet them and I'm especially good at ear-scritches and chin tickles.

    Oscar was really great looking after our three cats, especially as two are timid and wary of new people. He sent lots of pictures and updates so I was sure they were happy and well fed. Would happily recommend Oscar and definitely will be using him again in the future.

    We booked Oscar for a one night visit and will definitely be using him again. He came to meet us before our trip away and was super friendly and reassuring. Then, while we were away, we received a lovely photo and update on the mogs. We won’t hesitate to book Oscar again!

    Oscar was brilliant and I would strongly recommend for Taunton and surrounding areas. Our cat is very shy towards basically anyone but immediately became comfortable with Oscar. Daily photos and videos provided as promised and stayed in contact. Highly recommended.

    Oscar was very communicative and easy going from the start which was really reassuring as we have not used a professional cat sitter before. We particularly liked that when he met Nelly he didn’t fuss her as she can get quite nervous of strangers. He came to the house to meet us first (and Nelly) and was very quick to respond to messages. He sent us a pic of a very relaxed cat when we were away too which was really reassuring for us. He did everything he was asked to do and kept us updated via message too. Thanks Oscar it was really nice to know our princess was in good hands!
