Experienced cat fosterer available for cat sitting duties

This feels a bit like a dating profile... I hope your cat likes the sound of me! Hi, I’m Amy and I am regularly called “the cat lady” by friends and family. Thankfully they’ve not added “crazy” just yet.

I have been fostering cats for a charity for 3yrs now, after my gorgeous girl Bombeii (a.k.a Bommie, seen in my profile picture) sadly passed away at 19yrs old from a chronic illness. I adopted her from a neighbour who emigrated and cared for and loved her through her twilight years.

After she passed I decided to foster in her memory, helping cats and their owners in times of need. I used to look after my aunts’ cats as a child/teenager so have been around them since a young age and understand their language and behaviours.

I look after all my foster cats, and all of my friends’ and clients’ cats with as much care, attention and love as if he/she were Bommie. I spend quality time with all cats I look after, playing with them and cuddling them (on their terms) to make sure they aren’t bored. I am experienced in giving all forms of medication and am happy to clean litter trays (and accidents) if necessary.

If required I am also happy to water plants and make the house look occupied whilst you’re away.
