Cat sitting in/around Shrewsbury, former volunteer at a cat shelter with experience of cats of all kinds!

I am a PhD student in Conservation Ecology at MMU (I study the effects of habitat change on primates in Peru). However, my home base is in Shrewsbury, where I work from home. When I'm not running around the jungle or working, I can usually be found knitting/crocheting.

I lost my kitty, Frankie, unexpectedly after 11 years together...I had to wait 5 years for her to evolve into a lapcat, and from then we were inseparable. A couple of years later I finally adopted another furbaby. Coco is completely different, she's a medium hair tabby (that does not enjoy a brush!), that is super needy and my own personal shadow! She's also no lapcat, but I'm honoured by her presence nonetheless!

I volunteered at a local cat shelter for 3 years (where I got my own kitty from), and so I have experience with cats of all shapes and sizes. I am used to super-friendly and chatty cats but am perfectly happy with the shy and aloof cats too.

All cats accepted and appreciated by me!! So, get in touch if you want someone to look after your kitty whilst you're away.

I am perfectly happy to give the right cat the right type of attention - if they need those extra cuddles whilst you're away that that's great, I love kitty cuddles! However, if they prefer to glare at me from across the way whilst I feed them and change their litter, then that's fine too...cats will be cats after all!
