I have been house-sitting consistently since 2018 but prior to that many years experience with my own animals and occasional house and pet sits over the decades before 2018. Your animals treasured, your home in safe hands, and your travels stress free.

I am a 46 year old woman working remotely as a freelance writer. I previously worked as a Leadership Trainer within two large law enforcement organisations.

I am embarking on a memoir project which will involve travelling to the many places I have lived, and re-exploring them. So, if I have expressed interest in your sit, it may be that I am hoping to walk in my own footsteps for my writing.

I am a responsible and reliable house and pet sitter with lots of experience with animals and minding homes. I spent the last two years living on a farm in Portugal with six rescue dogs and a cat.

I love animals, and have a wonderful affinity with cats and dogs as well as smaller pets. I have had cats, dogs, rats, hamsters and gerbils around me all my life! I understand their communication very well. I have experience with anxious animals who relax with me very quickly.

I have now gained experience with horses/ponies but prefer them to be gentle ones! I've looked after goats and hens too.

On one pet sit I even herded the neighbour's lambs!

Let me know if you need anything watered in the garden, and any household management jobs completed during your absence. I am experienced in meeting and greeting guests in annex accommodation, if you run a bnb and have bookings requiring check in and check out while you are away.

In one housesit I was messaged urgently asking if I could find and return a library book before its due date, which gave me the opportunity to visit the local library!

I will treat your home with great respect and will hugely value my stay in your home. This supports my wanderlust and creativity. There is so much world to see, and I am so lucky to be able to be a pet-sitter where I can discover beautiful places and spend quality time with your animals

I am always so flattered at the welcome animals give me, allowing me the honour of being their temporary human. I find that, while they miss their parents, they relax immediately because I know the routine (meals especially) and do good snuggles!

I can easily accommodate long term sits.

I do not drink or smoke and am a vegan - don't worry, I have no issues feeding animals meat.
