About Me
Cat sitter with recent Veterinary Nursing Assistant experience
A caring and dependable cat sitting service you can trust.
Hi there, I’m Victoria and I'm a professional cat sitter with recent experience as full-time Veterinary Nursing Assistant in a busy animal hospital.
I can’t wait to meet your precious cat!
A bit about me…
Originally from Scotland, I’m a caring and dependable cat sitter based in North London. I currently work in public sector communications, but I had the pleasure of working as a Veterinary Nurse Assistant in a busy 24-hour animal hospital in my previous job. It was an absolute privilege to provide care for sick and abandoned cats and kittens, as well as dogs, pigeons, guinea pigs and rabbits.
I’m passionate about animal welfare - I especially love cats - and I have three adorable little cuddle monsters of my own! Two fluffy Siberians and our adorable disabled rescue cat, for whom I provide ongoing care and medication.
I love meeting and bonding with new feline friends!
Why book me as your cat sitter?
As a fellow cat guardian, I know how stressful it can be to find a trusted sitter to care for your precious cat. I pride myself on making sure your cat is happy and relaxed, so that you too can relax on your well-deserved break.
As a former professional Veterinary Nurse Assistant, I understand that cats are creatures of habit. I’ll maintain their regular routine as closely as possible, to ensure your time away is as stress-free as possible. I’ll follow your instructions to the letter and I'll keep you updated with photos/videos.
I respect each cats’ individual personality and I enjoy working with, and gaining the trust of, confident and more timid kitties on their own terms.
Pet sitting for your other beloved pets
I've had the pleasure of looking after a range of animals and would be delighted to care for your pets while you are away.
I have previous experience with pet rabbits, mice, and small snakes. I've worked with dogs, guinea pigs, and pigeons in my Veterinary Nursing Assistant role too. More recently, through my voluntary work, I've had the pleasure of helping with the animal husbandry of donkeys and a number of exotic animals in a zoological setting. I love learning about different species and getting to know each of their unique personalities!
I also have a DBS Certificate.
Services I provide:
- A free meet and greet – to ensure you’re happy, and your cat is too!
- Feed and provide fresh water according to your instructions. I am very conscientious and pride myself on attention to detail.
- Clean food and water bowls after every use.
- Scoop and clean litter boxes.
- Daily interactive playtime!
- Cuddles and chin scratches – only if they want to, of course!
- Updates with photos/videos – as often as you wish.
- Caring for your other beloved pets: from birds, reptiles, and fish, to rabbits, guinea pigs and rodents.
I'm pleased to also offer the following services:
- Grooming and nail trimming.
- Administering medication, including pills and spot-on treatments. I also have experience in administering inhalers for asthmatic cats and injections for diabetic cats.
- Brushing cat's teeth.
- Housesitting tasks such as watering plants, collecting the post, opening/closing curtains, and turning lights on/off.
- Enrichment for your other small pets.
If you have any other specific requirements, I’d be very happy to discuss them, so please do get in touch.
