About Me

Cat Lover with Flexible Schedule in London!

Hi, I'm Emily! I'm a friendly, responsible, 30 year-old professional. I work mostly remotely and would be able to visit multiple times a day for extra time with the cats or house-sit if needed. I'm also more than happy to pick up mail, water plants (I have quite a few of my own), or take care of additional house-sitting responsibilities. I'm originally from Washington, DC, where I've always lived with cats. My own kitty, Jager, lives with my mom in Maryland while I'm here in the UK. I miss living with cats but my flat here doesn't allow pets, so I would definitely cherish some time with your cats, whether it's active play or just some quiet cuddles. I'm very comfortable with caring for cats (feeding, cleaning litter boxes, playing) and I'm good at reading cat behavior. I would be more than happy to keep you updated with pictures or notes - I understand it's hard to leave your beloved kitties!

I've lived with cats my entire life, so I'm comfortable with all aspects of cat care! I understand some kitties have very particular preferences so I would be sure to follow instructions carefully. My cats have had medical issues in the past so I'm comfortable administering medicine if necessary. I'm happy to schedule a call or in-person chat (free of charge) to go over expectations for care and make sure you're comfortable with me as your cat-sitter. I'm responsible, reliable, and detail-oriented, plus I really enjoy spending time with cats and I know that I will benefit as much as you and your kitties!

I'm also very comfortable with other animals and would be delighted to care for additional pets!

    Emily was fantastic looking after Luna again. She kept us updated regularly with photos and videos which were so reassuring to see (it was the longest time we were away since we rescued Luna!). It was clear from the videos (and loud purring) that Luna was very happy with Emily looking after her.

    Emily recently watched my boys. She was great. They were happy and well looked after. She was very good about timings and sending me photos / videos from the visit. Definitely recommend.
