About Me

Mel's Cat Sitting

Hi - I am Melanie. A childcare worker and animal lover. I love cats and have experience of looking after a variety of animals. At home, I have two guinea pigs and a kitten called Betty (pictured). I am DBS checked due to my main job and have had met many happy cats and owners through Cat in a Flat.

I sometimes work in collaboration with my husband who is also on this app. This will not cost you any extra and provides an extra person to care for your cat.

I am a catsitter who will play with them, keep them occupied, feed and water them and make sure that they are safe and loved. I am very flexible with timing and am happy to work at long or short notice.

    This was the 2nd time we had Mel caring for our cats whilst we were away and we’re really happy to have come home to chilled happy cats again. Mel sent us photos each visit which really helps to know they are safe, happy and fed.

    Melanie took great care of our cats whilst we were away and was really easy to keep in touch with, sending us updates and photos each day that she visited them. She asked lots of great questions at our meet and great so she had all the information she would need We felt safe that our kitties were in great hands. We will definitely be re-booking

    Mel was fantastic looking after our cat Buddy over the Christmas break. Provided regular updates, and checked in on some irregularities to ensure it wasn't anything urgent! We will certainly be booking Mel again if we need a sitter.

    Mel has been super professional! We found our Éponine in a great mood and in perfect health! Mel followed all our instructions perfectly and was very responsible. She updated us with daily reports and pictures. Very happy cat and owners!
