About Me

The Sewing Cat Lady

I’ve been a cat owner for over 25 years and have experience of kittens and older cats. I rescued a kitten at 8 weeks old and have buried one of my older cats in my garden (heartbreaking). I understand that cats have their own personalities and some can be very vocal and others don’t like to be stroked too much.

I am self employed, a seamstress, teach machine sewing and have an online shop. I have two grown up children, one has a cat of her own (my grand cat, Jasper) and one who has just graduated university and is back home.

As I live in South Tyneside I will cover any area from Pelaw to South Shields including Jarrow, Hebburn, Boldon and Whitburn areas. If you’re unsure please just get in touch!

As an experienced cat owner and lover I will always make sure your furbaby is fed and watered, clean bowls and give treats and plenty of cuddles and play time. Litter tray also cleaned and your cat groomed if requested. I will make sure your furbaby is happy and content. I can administer some medications but not injections. I know how hard it is to be away from your four legged family member and I will send daily pictures and texts if required. If you need post collected, your plants watered or your home aired this can also be done for you.

    I can not recommend Deb H enough. This the first time i have useda service like this to car for my two house cats. She came to introduce herself to us before we went on holiday and Mollie (and us!) liked her straight away. She sent photos videos and updates everyday we were away.     Absolutely brilliant. Deb sent pictures and videos every day of the cats and obviously loved looking after them. She also took parcels to our neighbours, washed up and put my flowers in a vase for me! She was perfect
